Knowledge building

We know that the world is changing quickly and that technological advances in universities and startups can transform our industry for the better. For this reason, we have set up a proactive network to map initiatives and trends that can advance the frontiers of sustainability, technology and the use of spaces in our projects and areas of activity.

Project Moisés contemplates the research of impact initiatives in cities with populations over 1 million inhabitants in Western Europe, the United States, Canada, Japan, South Korea and Australia, taking into consideration several aspects of sustainability, such as:

  • Sustainable buildings
  • Water and energy saving
  • Carbon footprint Offset
  • Alternative sources
  • New materials
  • SHeating and cooling systems
  • Construction processes
  • Disruptive innovations
  • Smart cities

In addition to sustainability, we have focused on the intensive use of technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), which can transform our projects’ user experience and the market as a whole.

We seek to develop a new generation of real estate assets that combine sustainability, technology, and an efficient use of flexible spaces, with an intensive focus on the well-being of people and the surroundings.

We work in 3 fields:

Partnerships with engineering universities around the world: we reach out to the most active universities (in the USA, Canada, Sweden, Germany, South Korea and Japan) and catalog projects on the themes of sustainability and user experience that can contribute to the development of projects connected with a mindset of reducing environmental impact and promoting the good health and well-being of its occupants.

Benchmarks of relevant public policies: we research, in the experiences of urban planning in cities of over 1 million inhabitants in all continents, legislation that encourages environmental protection, energy-saving initiatives and user experience, which can help discussions in the Brazilian regulatory framework.

Selection of startups: we select, among 7,000 existing startups around the world in the areas of environmental technologies and user experience, 100 businesses that have great potential for innovation and relevance for Autonomy and for the Brazilian market. Our goal is to find the 20 most significant proposals with regards to innovation and efficiency so that, together, we can work on new concepts for the market in the shape of our projects and products.
